For parents & students - how and when do I pay for lessons?
Our tutors can not accept cash or payments through other processors for lessons booked on our platform. All Payments must go through our built in payment system.
Once you have agreed on everything like dates, times etc, your tutor will create and send you a booking to accept and pay for. When you accept the booking, you will see a pop up which will allow you to enter your payment details. We use STRIPE as our payment portal, one of the biggest and safest payment portals in the world.
We hold the payment until 24 hours after the class has happened which is when we make payment to the tutor. We do this to give everyone peace of mind when making a booking. You can request a refund if the class did not take place or if there was something unsatisfactory about it that is within the guidelines of our cancellation policy.
Using our payment system gives assurance to you that your money is safe and also to the tutor that they will be paid once the class goes ahead.
We'll always send you a reminder email before each lesson so you won't forget.
We know that sometimes life happens, so you're welcome to cancel any bookings. See our cancellations policy here.
You can manage all of your bookings from the "My Bookings" area of your account.
